Local historian Silas Kimm’s grandchildren compiled all of his known written articles that covers his boyhood memories in Salisbury, NY, his career as teacher and Superintendent of Schools in Herkimer County, reminiscences about people he knew, genealogies of local families, and a variety of poems about people, places and things – it’s an excellent resource on the history of the town of Salisbury and the people who lived there in the 1800’s-early 1900’s.
