In 2017, to commemorate the centennial anniversary, the Society undertook a WW1 Veterans Banner Project featuring the photographs of local soldiers who participated in The Great War. The banners were designed by Bob Critser of CAD Designs and sponsored by area businesses, organizations, and family members of the soldiers and nurses. The banners hung in the community in which they lived until until Veterans Day 2018.
